Tom Holland-Pearse

Tom Holland-Pearse - Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist

Tom is a highly skilled CBT Therapist based in the vibrant city of Bristol. With a rich background in the NHS, Tom has now transitioned from a successful career to pursuing his passion in full-time Private Practice.

Boasting nine years of experience in the realms of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Tom has become adept at helping people navigate the intricate landscape of mental health disorders.

Tom’s area of specialist interest lies in supporting males who are struggling with their mental health, and low self esteem in particular. Tom’s approach supports individuals to conquer obstacles and embrace a life filled with self-worth. Through personalised support, Tom aims to illuminate the path toward recognising our potential and building confidence to face the world and it’s challenges.

But let’s not forget the intriguing side of Tom – the ultimate multitasker! Whether he’s strumming away on his guitar, penning down thoughts for his latest book, or daydreaming about his next travel adventure, Tom always has a million plates spinning. On the lighter side, his not-so-secret guilty pleasure is coaxing new acquaintances into completing a Myers-Briggs test – a unique approach to formally assess friendship-suitability. And when he’s not indulging in that, Tom can be found immersed in self-help books, unraveling the mysteries behind his eclectic interests and habits.

Tom has availability to offer in-person Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy in Bristol or online for individuals aged 14 and above.

Kerry Cawte: CBT Therapist

Kerry Cawte - Parent Therapist

My name is Kerry Cawte, and I am a Parent Therapist.

I have 16 years’ teaching experience in primary and higher education, alongside working with children and families. My portfolio includes a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education), a First-Class BA Honors in Education and Training and a Postgraduate Diploma in Evidence-based Psychological Treatment for Children and Young People.

Throughout my career, it has been continually noted that I have a natural empathy and positive approach to dealing with children, young people, and families, particularly those with challenging or sensitive issues. I have a passion and enthusiasm for understanding children’s social and emotional needs and what they are trying to communicate with their behaviour. By considering parents and child’s views, thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, this helps parents identify the right solutions and strategies for their family in a collaborative, empowering and supportive manner. I am extremely diligent and always strive to do my absolute best to provide a multifaceted and tailored approach for parents and children, providing additional resources and suggestions when situations or challenges arise. I firmly believe in supporting family relationships and providing a holistic approach to children’s wellbeing, learning and development.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and dog. I enjoy creative activities, such as refurbishing furniture, creating items for our home and I actively try to utilise self-care and enjoy yoga, running and long walks. I am currently in the initial stages of paddleboarding and hope to be able to stay on the board a bit longer.

Kerry is based in Hampshire but is able to see clients locally or remotely via digital platforms.
